A connected commercial platform for industrial laundry equipment
A Shopify-based sales and quotation platform structured around commercial machinery, technical product data, specification documents, refurbished stock, fulfilment and accounting workflows. Coreframe built the connected Shopify store the business now uses to manage sales, quotations and fulfilment.
A connected store for an industrial equipment supplier's sales and operations
Independent Laundry Solutions supplies and services commercial laundry equipment — a business of technical catalogues, high-value machinery, refurbished stock and delivery logic that no standard storefront could hold together. Coreframe built the connected Shopify store that now helps run it.
A connected Shopify store through which products, enquiries, quotations and orders are managed — a website that also helps run the operation, rather than sitting beside it.
- Large technical product catalogue with specification documents
- Quote-only machinery workflows and structured quotation management
- Purchasable refurbished and B-stock products, with variants
- Stock handling and QuickBooks accounting integration
- Pallet and courier delivery logic, with order documentation
- Workflow automation, product-image standardisation and technical SEO
- Ongoing operational support
Six modules, one connected operation
The system is built from distinct modules that pass work between them. Each holds one part of the operation and hands its output to the next — so a customer enquiry becomes a quotation, an order, a stock movement, a ledger entry and a delivery without anyone re-keying it.
Catalogue
The technical product library — specifications, documents and variants held as structured data. It feeds the storefront customers browse and the items quotations are built from, keeping one governed source of product truth for the whole system.
Quotations
Where machinery enquiries become priced, structured quotes. It draws items and specifications from the catalogue, and on approval passes a confirmed order downstream — replacing quotes handled loosely in email inboxes.
Stock
Inventory control for refurbished and B-stock lines. It listens to orders and purchasing, keeps availability accurate against what customers can see, and signals when levels run low — so the catalogue never sells what is not there.
Accounting
The connection into QuickBooks. Confirmed orders flow through with VAT mapped and invoices raised, entering the ledger without duplicate manual entry — closing the loop between what is sold and what is recorded.
Fulfilment
Delivery logic for heavy goods. It reads each confirmed order and applies pallet or courier routing by product and destination, attaches the right documentation, and keeps the customer informed from dispatch to arrival.
Automation
The rules that tie the modules together. It tags orders, routes enquiries, standardises product images and sends consistent communications — handling the repetitive handovers between every other module so staff time is spent on the work that needs judgement.
From a fragmented process to a controlled operation
The contrast below shows the shape of change a connected system makes — how the operation changes in kind, not in numbers. The same work that once lived across separate tools now moves through one connected system.
Fragmented
- Quotations managed loosely across email inboxes
- Orders re-keyed by hand between separate tools
- Stock levels held separately from the storefront
- Accounting entered twice, in the store and the ledger
- Delivery arranged case by case for every order
Controlled
- Structured quotations built from the catalogue
- Synchronised orders across the whole system
- Visible, controlled stock tied to what is on sale
- QuickBooks integrated, with entry recorded once
- Pallet and courier logic automated by product and destination
