Coreframe / Work / Leaf Artificial Plants Direct-to-consumer ecommerce

Large-catalogue retail across products, collections and international markets

A large artificial-plant store where retail shoppers, trade buyers and hospitality customers all shop one catalogue — organised by category and height, sold across the UK and Europe, and kept navigable as the range grows. Coreframe designed and built the store on Shopify.

The brief01 / 04

Keep a big, growing catalogue easy to shop

A large artificial-plant range is only an asset if customers can find the right piece quickly — the right tree for a corner, the right height for a hallway, the right planter to match. As the catalogue grows and sells into more countries, the risk is a store that becomes a maze and product data that drifts out of step across categories and markets. Leaf needed navigation and structure that scaled with the range.

What we built02 / 04

Structure that scales with the range

A Shopify store built around how people actually shop for plants — by type, by height and by room — with one product structure feeding every market.

  • Collection-led navigation across flowers, trees, plants, planters and commercial ranges
  • Height-based filtering (under 50cm through 150cm+) for fast selection
  • Product architecture and variants held as one governed source
  • International market selection with localised currency across the UK and Europe
  • Dedicated commercial, trade and hospitality (salons, spas & hotels) routes
  • Technical SEO and merchandising built into the category structure

Where the efficiency comes from04 / 04

Shoppers find it faster; the catalogue is managed once

The value is on both sides of the sale — customers reach the right product in fewer clicks, and the team maintains one catalogue instead of many.

Faster to the right product

Shopping by category and height means a customer narrows a large range to the right piece in a few taps — fewer dead ends, fewer bounces, more baskets that complete.

Managed once, sold everywhere

One governed product structure feeds retail, trade, hospitality and markets across the UK and Europe — so a change is made once, not re-keyed per channel or country.

Built to be found

A clean category structure with technical SEO gives a large catalogue the indexable pages it needs to earn organic traffic, rather than hiding stock behind search.
